Ride High Cycle Challenge
Sunday 15th August
Take on Ride High’s Cycle Challenge this summer!
Choose a 50 or 100 mile road route through picturesque villages and stunning countryside in Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
This is a fantastic personal challenge and we’ll be with you every pedal of the way. We’ll provide training tips and fundraising advice to help you prepare, and on the day you will ride in small groups led by experienced cyclists.
Starting and finishing at the charity’s home in central Milton Keynes, there will be scheduled stops and roaming support along both routes. This is a fun and friendly event, but it is a challenge – so whilst you’re not racing against the clock we will aim to complete 100 miles within eight hours and 50 miles with four hours (avg speed 12.5mph). At the finish line there’ll be a well-earned celebratory BBQ for you and your supporters, and the Ride High children will present you with hand-crafted medals.
Participants must be over 18.
Registration costs to help cover expenses:
50 mile route - £20pp
100 mile route - £30pp
We also ask that you commit to raising £350pp in sponsorship.
In return we will provide:
- a guided, challenging and fun cycle route
- fundraising support
- two virtual meetings prior to event to help with preparation/training and fundraising
- Ride High cycling shirt for the big day
- water and snacks at the halfway point on your route
- race medal hand-crafted by the Ride High children
- celebratory BBQ for you and your supporters.

If you would like to create your own team with friends, family or colleagues, and amongst you have an experienced cyclist that could follow our GPS route then please contact us. You will still need to pay the registration fee and fundraise, and you’ll also receive the same benefits noted above.
For more information and to register your interest please contact Helen at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01908 696169.
After Ride London 100 was cancelled last year, four Ride High supporters decided to team-up and cycle their own route and they had the best day. Ride High’s Cycle Challenge this summer has been built on their experience and will follow the same route.
