We’re taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge again this year. It’s the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign in which we’re hoping to raise £8,000 in just one week to help support 32 children through a 12 week programme at Ride High starting in January 2023. The money raised will directly fund sessions with the horses. Horses enable us to make a special connection with children and just being in their presence helps to instil confidence, self-esteem and pride.

Every donation we receive up to a total of £4,000 will be generously matched by our supporters, Sysmex UK and Big Give Champion Four Acre Trust. This means that until the £4,000 cap is reached for every £10 donated, we will receive £20 towards our services.

Give a gift to change young lives

Jake is 12. His family lives in poverty and conditions at home are poor, but they are a strong family unit. Mum is seriously unwell, which worries all of them enormously. Jake struggles with emotional and behavioural difficulties at school, finds it hard to accept the rules and boundaries and regularly gets excluded because of it. Exclusion means Jake can spend time at home with his mum, so he’s not motivated to change things. A place at Ride High would provide Jake with a positive focus away from home, and stability to encourage him back into education.

Our waiting list is the longest it has ever been, and children just like Jake desperately need our help. We’re asking you to help us to give 32 of them a very special gift this Christmas - an invitation to join Ride High in January for an experience that will transform their lives forever.

How you can help?

From Tuesday 29th November to Tuesday 6th December please donate to Ride High via the Big Christmas Give. Any amount big or small will make such a difference to our work.

With thanks to our supporters
