How is Ride High Funded

We have two sources of income

1. Charitable giving

We receive most of our funding from charitable giving from the following sources 

- grants from charitable foundations

- corporate and personal donations

- fundraising events 

Ride High events  –  such as our charity ball or Curry quiz night

Fundraising organised by other supporters  -  for instance a team from Barclaycard completed the Three Peaks Challenge on behalf of Ride High and raised over £11,000. A local company donated their Christmas Card money to Ride High.

2. Funding for children who attend Ride High

For some children who attend Ride High we are able to access funding. This may come from a referring school, from a childcare agency, from a local parish council or a government grant such as the Disadvantaged Subsidy.

We are a local independent grant-making charity. Our vision is to create a culture of giving that strengthens and supports the local community. We provide the vital link between those people in the city who are able to give and those who are most in need.

Positive Activities for Young People, Milton Keynes Council

PAYP is a national Government programme for young people aged 8-19. It offers arts, sports, cultural and educational activities for young people at risk of social exclusion, crime or anti-social behaviour.
