We love hosting groups at Ride High. CSR days give us the chance to share our passion for supporting children in the community and allow businesses the chance to volunteer their time and expertise to a meaningful cause. We’re thrilled at the prospect of welcoming your team to our centre and sharing the life-changing work we do with vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Milton Keynes.
A CSR day at Ride High offers your staff a rewarding and hands-on experience, from transforming or upkeeping our outdoor areas to helping us prepare Christmas presents or materials for creative sessions, every activity directly contributes to the wellbeing of our children.
A typical CSR day at Ride High comprises the following:
We’re happy to work with you to create a day that reflects your values and if you have any specific ideas or skills-to-use in mind.
Yes, there is a cost involved. As a charity, we need to cover the overheads of the day to make sure the activities you take part in are valuable to the charity’s beneficiaries, first and foremost.
The associated costs include the wages of the staff who manage and facilitate our volunteering programme, the purchase and maintenance of PPE and other practicalities including materials needed for the day such as paint, gardening equipment or tools.
Our corporate and business partners cover this cost in many ways such as match-funding, corporate sponsorship, engagement with events, payroll giving and one-off CSR donations to list a few.
While we are able to host CSRs for businesses that we don’t currently have a relationship with, a suggested donation of £20 per person helps cover the costs above. This ensures we can host you safely and effectively while continuing our mission to transform young lives through horses and tailored wellbeing support.
If you aren’t sure whether your organisation currently has a partnership with Ride High, please get in touch with Joanna at volunteermanager@ridehigh.org
We’re happy to work with you to create a day that reflects your values and provides genuine community impact. Let us know your preferred dates, group size, or if you have any specific ideas or skills-to-use in mind.
We also have events throughout the year that your staff may be interested to use their volunteer days or to fundraise for, including: our marathon, cycle challenge, football tournament, clay shoot, sky diving and golf day. It would be brilliant if you had members of staff interested in taking part, raising money for us, or volunteering their time on the day. We couldn’t run these events without our incredible volunteers, so all support is welcome.
Take a look at our upcoming opportunities for CSR days.

We are especially interested in groups that can run an activity for our members during their club room sessions that is related to the theme. Random Acts of Kindness Week (15th – 20th)- Could your group come in and set up some random acts of kindness for our children? This could be during their sessions (we run 3 charity groups a day), or could involve creating something that you bring in for them. In the past businesses have brought us gift bags, presents, activities and more for our members. We love to see anything creative but equally appreciate the kindness you can bring in other ways such as cleaning the children’s boots, clearing up the charity garden or washing the minibuses!
